Lucid Bell energy sources from Dreams
As you may already know, Lucid Bells originate from the human subconscious. There can be an infinite number of Lucid Bells bonded to a specific dreamer, depending on the complexities of their mind. However, humans typically have 2-3 Lucid Bells that symbolize the main components of their soul: personal desires, fears, and identity. The specific individual’s subconscious is the Lucid Bell’s main source of energy. So, when a human ceases to exist, so too does the Lucid Bell. The act of absorbing energy throughout these dreams is an essential part of the Lucid Bell’s existence. This is their way of sustaining themselves and maintaining their connection to both the dream world, astral plane, and their host. Not only are dreams their primary energy source, but the emotions and experiences contained within dreams provide them with a deep sense of understanding that connects the Lucid Bell to their host. This connection allows them to offer enlightenment, protection, and a space for humans to lucid dream without limitations.
Lucidbells utilize their incomprehensible abilities by entering a sensitive region of the dreamer's subconscious and establishing a connection with the dreamer's psyche. When the region is accessed, the Lucid Bell rotates its head forward and absorbs the energy throughout the crevices of the opening on its face and encapsulates the energy within the head. This connection allows them to absorb fragments of the dreamer's energy, taking in the emotions and experiences encoded within. Throughout the time the dreamer is asleep, the Lucid Bell interacts with their human within the dream world. Within the head of the Lucid Bell, a process begins where the energy is cycled through and “cleansed”. In turn, before the dreamer awakes, the Lucid Bell restores a portion of this energy, returning it to the host and retaining the rest to return to the astral plane. This partnership provides stability for the Lucid Bell in the astral plane until the next time the dreamer falls asleep, meeting again in the dream world. Without this partnership, as humans traverse through the dream world, they become vulnerable to nightmares, insomnia, and sleep paralysis events. This is due to the lack of positive energy exchanges that keep the dream world intact. It's a symbiotic relationship for smoother transitions from the dream state to the waking state.
Lucid Bell Procreation
Apart from the three primary Lucid Bells (Desire, Fear, and Identity) that emerge at the point a living being gains consciousness, Lucid Bells can procreate through a process called “Wildcrafting”. This ritual is performed by taking elements from both the dream realm of their host and the psyche of the human subconscious to create a new Lucid Bell entity unique to their own design. The characteristics that a Lucid Bell inherits from one dreamer will shape the Lucid Bell differently from another, resulting in a variety of different looks, symbolistic accessories, and features.
The initial step of this process involves retrieving fine sand that is located in the region where the human psyche is located. This sand often contains flakes of sacred metallic materials like silver, copper, gold, and even jewels, depending on the host. This sand, when forged, represents the foundation of their bell-shaped heads. Another key component is energy taken from the human psyche, transmitted into the development process, that decides the features of the Lucid Bell from their ribbons, body types, and personalities. Additionally, symbolic materials throughout the host’s dream realm are taken and amalgamated with the forging of all three elements to create a Lucid Bell. These can be physical items that bring comfort to the host or fragments of familiars that roam within their dream. Once the dream materials are collected, the Lucid Bells convene in a sacred dream space within the human subconscious, where they combine their collective experiences and emotions. With great care and unity, they shape the sand, energy, and materials into a new Lucid Bell entity. Lucid Bells communicate through a unique language known as "Dreamspeak." This language is a blend of vivid imagery, emotions, and sensations, allowing them to convey complex ideas and feelings to one another and to those they encounter in dreams. Extraordinarily intricate and nuanced form of communication that far surpasses the complexity of human language. While human language relies on words, grammar, and syntax to convey ideas and emotions, Dreamspeak transcends these limitations by tapping directly into the rich tapestry of dreams and emotions. Dreamspeak often sounds like nothing, but on rare occasions, they're like whispers or "pssspssstpsssts" sounds that you would typically make towards a pet.
In Dreamspeak, communication takes the form of vivid and ever-shifting imagery, a symphony of emotions, and a kaleidoscope of sensations. A single Dreamspeak exchange can convey layers of meaning, providing not only the words but also the feelings and experiences behind them. For example, instead of simply saying "I love you," a Lucid Bell might convey the sensation of soaring through a sky filled with fireworks, accompanied by a profound sense of warmth and connection. The way they communicate "I love you" is strictly based upon the interpretation of it from humans, more specifically, the human they're "connected" to.

It also enables them to discuss abstract concepts, share dreamscapes, and explore the nuances of the dream world with unparalleled precision. Dreamspeak is an essential part of their culture, fostering deep connections and understanding among Lucid Bells while making their interactions in the dream realm a truly immersive and transformative experience. On the other hand, Dream Drainers typically make soft whistle shriek noises that radiate warning throughout the dream realm.
Dream Realm & The Astral Plane
Lucid Bells primarily roam the vastness of the dream realm of their host. However, their unique nature allows them to bridge the gap between the dream world, the astral plane, and even visit other humans’ subconscious. Their physical forms are native to their host’s dream dimension but alter when navigating the astral plane and are perceived slightly differently in others’ dreams. Similar to their forms, Lucid Bells can alter only the regions within their host’s dreams, allowing them to control the environments and what humans see. Dream Realm
The dreamworld is an endless space that is curated for the dreamer or managed according to the Lucid Bell’s vision. You can only locate this area within the mind. This realm can be perceived in all dimensions with no limitations except the dreamer’s own imagination. This space is often used as an environment where humans can explore the experiences of reality without any consequences or limitations. Within these dreams, humans spend their time often reenacting experiences that have already played out or expanding more through predicting different scenarios that may occur in reality. Lucid Bells usually leave humans alone when navigating their worlds, but depending on the bond between BELLL and the host, they make special appearances.

Astral Plane
The astral plane is fundamentally a gateway between the heavens, the earth, and all that exists in between. The astral plane has different levels of elevation that depend on one’s spiritual awareness & conciousness. Aside from the levels of the astral planes, there are more than a beach of sand full of dimensions that both Lucid Bells and humans can access through astral projection. Information on the astral plane is limited because the location is primarily theoretical. From the information we could gather, these locations are incomprehensible to the human mind. These occurrences are oftentimes difficult and dangerous for humans to access because the human body is exposed and vulnerable when the soul is separated, let alone the art of achieving astral projection is rare. Lucid Bells have the advantage due to the inherent receptiveness of their nature. Interacting with spirits, ancestors, and other mythical beings that reside within the astral plane, Lucid Bells are able to exchange information and establish connections with others alongside or on behalf of their human companions.
Navigating the Dreams of Others
Through astral projection as well, Lucid Bells can navigate the living world and descend into the minds and dreams of other living beings. When a Lucid Bell is astral projecting, their soul is separated from their host’s body and can access a new dimension, giving them the ability to travel to any time or place, or even into another dreamer’s mind. When accessing a host apart from one’s own, Lucid Bells change in appearance depending on how the dreamer perceives the energy.
Dreamsolei Dimension
The Dreamsolei Dimension, a serene pool of water, is a profound reservoir that encapsulates the deepest desires, experiences, passions, secrets, fears, and the collective energy of dreamers and all life forms. It represents the delicate harmony between the waking world and the dream world. When a dreamer drifts into slumber, they partake in an intricate exchange of energy between these two realms through their Lucid Bell. This dimension holds an innate sacredness. Just as an impure touch can soil the clarity of the water, so too can the Dreamsolei Dimension be tainted by the introduction of negative energy. This taint, once present, has the potential to ripple throughout the Dreamsolei Dimension and the entirety of the dream world. The consequences are dire, as it gradually corrupts the very essence of Dreamsolei Guardians and Lucid Bells, twisting them into malevolent entities known as Dream Drainers. As Dream Drainers insidiously infiltrate and corrupt the dream world, they feed upon the energy of humans for their own gain. This parasitic relationship leaves humans vulnerable to a myriad of afflictions. The Dreamsolei Dimension, while a wellspring of inspiration and wonder, must be protected and cherished, for its balance holds the key to preserving the serenity of dreams and the sanctity of the dream world.
