Welcome to the official anatomy guide for Lucid Bells! These images are here to assist you in designing or drawing your Lucid Bell. We understand that anatomy can be challenging, so if you have any suggestions or questions, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

Anatomy & Features

The origins of the Lucid Bells remain shrouded in mystery, but legend has it that they emerged from the echoes of forgotten dreams. Their circular bell-shaped heads serve as the gateway to their world. The two holes on the sides of their heads represent their eyes, providing them with sight within the shifting dreamscapes. The straight line along the bell's edge represents their mouth, which can be revealed or hidden at will by rolling their head forwards or backwards.

Adorning their heads are two bow ties, each unique in shape, size, and color, which symbolize their ears. These bow ties are not merely decorative but serve as sensory receptors that allow them to tune into the frequencies of dreams and emotions. Ribbons extend from these bows, gracefully flowing down to their front legs. These ribbons serve as both feet, molding themselves into paw-like structures to traverse the dream world. Their front hooved feet can either be inserted into the ribbon feet or left out, giving them the versatility to navigate different dreamscapes.

In addition to their varying ear shapes, Lucid Bells may possess ribbon-like tails that sway gracefully behind them or opt for more traditional mammalian tails, adding to their individuality.

Primary body features broken down! Here you can learn how to draw each body part and learn their importance.

Head Anatomy

When designing your BELLLs, the head is the most crucial element. Typically, there are two primary sets of strands on the back of your BELLL's head. One set connects to the arms, while the other forms a bow or simple ribbons that resemble ears. Since BELLLs are rarely depicted from behind in illustrations, the provided diagram offers a complete view of the BELLL's head from every angle, allowing you to accurately visualize the placement of the ribbons.

Hand Anatomy

The ribbons that extend down to the hooves of a Lucid Bell are commonly referred to as "hands." These hands can be depicted in various styles, offering creative flexibility in your design. You might choose to illustrate them as enormous plush paws, elegant gloves, or even as simplified oval-shaped fingers. The choice is yours, allowing for a unique and personalized touch. However, it's important to remember that these hands are a signature feature of Lucid Bells and play a crucial role in their design. As such, they should always be included and never omitted.

Body Shapes & Sizes

Lucid Bells come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, giving you the freedom to explore different body types in your designs. Whether you envision a big, buff, and muscular BELLL, a tall and slender figure, or a short and stocky form, the possibilities are endless! You can also experiment with different styles for their hooves, ranging from realistic to more simplified interpretations. As shown in the guide, there are various approaches that stay true to the BELLL's anatomy while allowing for creative expression.

When drawing their feet, you might find it helpful to reference animals like horses, goats, or cows, but remember that some BELLLs may have unique features that set them apart from typical hooved creatures. These distinctive characteristics are part of what makes each Lucid Bell special, so feel free to get creative while maintaining the essence of the species.
