 Seamees  Terms of Service  

Please take the time to read these simple rules whenever you can, especially when you first obtain your Seamee. This is to help prevent any issues you may have in the future. If you have broken any of these terms, they will result in punishment either stated or the staff deems is appropriate regardless if you have or haven’t become familiar with these terms.

Abstract Glow Object

Seamees are a semi-closed species by PiickOne. This means that you are not permitted to make your own Angelic or Spartan Class Seamee without an MYO Ticket. However, you can make a Basic Class Seamee. If you'd like to obtain a Seamee (Angelic/Spartan Class, you may purchase them through adoptables (OTAs, BTAs, NYPs, Flat Sales, etc.), enter raffles or giveaways, or purchase a MYO Ticket. Please do not create any Seamees outside of the community, if you do it will not be considered an "official" design for the species and will be excluded from the community. I, PiickOne, do not mind if you make personal Seamees, but please refrain from uploading or sharing them if they are not an official design.

I. Acceptable Payment Methods

When acquiring Seamees, we offer various payment options to cater to your preferences. Any differences in payment options such as vouching, item exchanges, gift cards, etc is completely up to the vendor. You can purchase seamees using the following methods (but not limited to):
 

  • Real Currency: We accept payments in real currency, providing a straightforward payment option for those who prefer direct financial transactions. Some examples: Paypal, Cashapp, Venmo, etc.

  • Seamee Tokens/Tickets: You can also obtain Seamees using Seamee Tokens/Tickets, our community's official currency. This offers an alternative way to acquire these unique creatures.

  • Virtual Currencies: In addition, we welcome virtual currencies such as DA Points, Amino Coins, and similar options. This flexibility allows you to use digital resources you may have accumulated in other online communities.
     

Split Payments

For your convenience, we permit split payments, which means you can make partial payments using different methods, such as a combination of real currency and virtual currency (e.g., Half Money/Half Points). However, it's essential to obtain prior approval from the creator of the specific seamee you wish to acquire. This ensures a smooth and mutually agreeable transaction.
 

Payment Completion

To maintain fairness and efficiency within our community, we kindly request that all payments, including payments for artwork and trading, be completed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 20-30 days. Unless otherwise specified by the vendor, this guideline ensures that transactions proceed smoothly.
 

Regular Payment Updates

We encourage open and regular communication with the vendor throughout the payment process. Providing updates on your progress fosters transparency and helps build trust within our community. Keeping the vendor informed of your payment status ensures a positive and cooperative transaction experience.

II. Adopting Seamees ( Adoptables, Redesigns, MYO's )

  •  Creation of Seamees: Seamees can only be obtained offically through adoptables, community events, or by using MYO (Make Your Own) Tickets. The creation of Seamees from scratch without a MYO Ticket or any form of approval from a staff member is strictly prohibited to maintain the integrity of the species within our community.

  • Content Standards: All designs and customizations of Seamees must adhere to a PG13 content and artwork. We maintain a policy of zero tolerance for any not safe for work (NSFW) content involving Seamees. In the event that you commission or create any artwork deemed inappropriate, it must remain for personal use only to preserve the community's diverse environment.

  • Modifications and Approvals: Any alterations to Seamees, including redesigns or trait changes, require prior approval from our staff or the founder. To initiate trait changes, please ensure that you possess/purchase the necessary item(s) for such modifications. Changes made without the appropriate item will not be officially recognized or added to the masterlist.

  • Co-Ownership: Co-ownership of Seamees is allowed but must be transparently communicated to our staff members. Notify us of each owner involved and any noteworthy character activity to maintain clear records within the community.

  • Transfer Protocol: When transferring a Seameer to another member, it is imperative that you promptly update the masterlist. To update the masterlist you can contact any of the staff members through discord to submit a form. Additionally, inform the recipient of the T.O.S to ensure that all parties are well-informed and agree to the terms and conditions.

  • Commissioning MYO Seamees: If you choose to commission an artist to create a Seamee using a MYO ticket, you are responsible for providing the artist with proof of your MYO ticket purchase, as well as any other relevant information. This is particularly important when commissioning artists outside of our community.

  • Documentation of Transfers: Whenever a Seamee changes ownership, it should be updated on the master list with accompanying proof if available. Our staff or founder is readily available to assist you in adding or updating your Seamee. For a smoother process, please refer to our Discord, where you can find instructions on how to submit a form or update your Seamee.

  • Pricing and Payment: When considering the resale or trade of your Seamee, we encourage you to offer it at the base value or even a lower price. It's important to note that different vendors may have varying rules regarding pricing. The inclusion of additional artwork may increase the perceived value of your Seamee.

  • Payment Completion: We kindly request that you refrain from selling, trading, or gifting your Seamee until all owed payments are successfully completed in full. Vendors have the right to withhold the adoptable until all payments are finalized. In the event that payments or updates are not received within 30 days (unless stated otherwise by the vendor), the seller reserves the right to cancel the transacation and proceed with reselling or retrading the design.

III. Behavior within the community.

  • Staff Assistance: Our dedicated staff members are here to assist you with any issues or concerns you may have. Don't hesitate to reach out to them for help when needed or if you have any questions regarding anything.

  • Dispute Resolution: We encourage open and honest communication throughout our community. We ask that you refrain from escalating disputes. Our staff will handle and mediate any conflicts that arise. In the event that a situation escalates further, please privately message any of the following staff members on the home page for assistance.

  • Community Integrity: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any form of theft within our community. This includes but is not limited to impersonation, art theft, scamming, and stealing designs. Such actions will result in a permanent ban from the Seamees community.

  • Ownership Rights: If you own a Seamee and are banned or suspended until further notice, your ownership of the Seamee will not be revoked. However, we encourage you to consider making minor changes to your Seamee to differentiate it as a separate species. If you do not wish to make such changes, they will be considered as an "un-official" design.

  • Community Partnerships: We may have close partnerships with other communities. Any infractions within these communities will be addressed appropriately, potentially leading to bans or suspensions from the Seamees community, depending on the situation.

  • Anti-Discrimination Policy: Discrimination, including racism, homophobia, degrading remarks, slurs, and bullying of any kind, is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this rule will result in an immediate ban from the community. We prioritize a safe and inclusive environment for all members and hope to keep this community positive and welcoming.

  • Content Guidelines: This community may be frequented and supported by minors, so we prohibit any NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content or fetishes related to the Seamees species. This restriction extends to any NSFW artwork that is shared within the community, even if it is not directly Seamees-related.

  • Respect Boundaries: Please respect the boundaries of other members, especially regarding Seamee trades. Harassment, stalking, or engaging in "witch hunting" against those who may have violated these guidelines is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban from the community. We do not condone harassment under any circumstances.
